What You’ll Do
As a Software Tester, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of complex software solutions. You’ll design and execute test cases, identify and document bugs, collaborate with development teams, and contribute to ongoing process improvement within the QA function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects, ensuring timely resolution
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to refine requirements and designs
- Automate repetitive test tasks using appropriate frameworks and tools
- Analyse results, create reports, and maintain testing documentation
- Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to risk assessment
- Support continuous improvement of QA practices and processes
What You Need
- 2–3 years’ experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Strong grasp of SDLC and STLC
- Proficiency with testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies
- Experience in both manual and automated testing
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
Preferred (but not essential)
- Experience with SQL for database testing
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Testing certifications (e.g. ISTQB, CSTE)
- Background in ERP systems or related applications
