About the Position

About the role

We’re looking for a Security Operations Engineer (SecOps) specializing in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) to help strengthen the global cybersecurity posture of our client. In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing, monitoring, and optimizing enterprise identity systems, ensuring users have secure, appropriate, and timely access to company resources.

You’ll be a hands-on contributor in a global operations environment, resolving incidents, managing changes, and continuously improving identity and access management processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and drive operational excellence across identity platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain enterprise Identity Governance systems, ensuring consistent uptime, performance, and compliance.
  • Execute incident, change, and problem management processes aligned with ITIL best practices.
  • Monitor system health, respond to alerts, and manage resolution of identity-related incidents.
  • Apply patches, upgrades, and security updates to IAM platforms.
  • Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements to enhance stability and scalability.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including system configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with IT, application, and security teams to resolve issues and plan integrations.
  • Support internal and external audit activities and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Contribute to process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

On-Call Support

  • Participate in a structured global on-call rotation to support critical identity services outside standard working hours (every 4-6 weeks).
  • Provide rapid response and resolution for high-priority IAM incidents during weekends or holidays, following a shared “follow-the-sun” model with other global teams.

Experience/Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), particularly in provisioning, access control, and governance.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with IT service management processes (ITIL).
  • Understanding of security fundamentals, authentication protocols, and access control models.
  • Experience with IAM platforms such as Microsoft Identity Manager, Entra ID (Azure AD), or SailPoint.
  • Proficiency in scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, NodeJS, or similar languages.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and understanding of related security frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across distributed teams.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus
