Job Title: Junior Project Management Officer (PMO)

Salary/Rate: €40,000 - €45,000

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Junior PMO to support the delivery of technology and business projects within a leading financial software environment.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

Working closely with project managers, technical teams, and senior stakeholders, you will contribute to the planning, coordination, and monitoring of project activities, helping ensure that deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking.

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and dashboards.

• Coordinate meetings, draft agendas, record actions, and follow up on deliverables.

• Support risk, issue, and change management processes.

• Ensure project governance and methodology compliance.

• Collaborate with internal teams (Development, QA, Operations) and external stakeholders.

• Assist with resource allocation and budget tracking as required.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.

Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.

• Experience in a PMO, project coordination, or project support role.

• Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

• Strong proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of project tools like MS Project or JIRA is a plus.

• Fluent in English (C1); French is an advantage.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.

• Team player with a problem-solving mindset.

• Experience in the financial services or software industry is a plus.
