System Engineer

🎯 Job Objective:

As part of strengthening our IT team, we are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to manage, develop, and secure our IT infrastructure. The candidate will work on critical environments, collaborating with the network, security, and support teams.

🛠️ Main Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and develop system infrastructures (Windows/Linux).

• Manage physical and virtual servers (VMware, Hyper-V).

• Participate in infrastructure development projects (migration, deployment, upgrades).

• Ensure system monitoring, availability, and performance.

• Manage level 2/3 incidents and provide technical support.

• Participate in the implementation of security policies (patching, hardening, access management).

• Document procedures, configurations, and interventions.

• Collaborate with DevOps, network, and security teams.

🧠 Required technical skills:

• Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux systems (Red Hat, Ubuntu, Debian).

• Experience with virtualization solutions: VMware vSphere, vCenter, Hyper-V.

• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and PowerShell.

• Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, PRTG, etc.).

• Knowledge of system security (hardening, vulnerability management, patch management).

• Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, firewall).

• Knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, etc.) is a plus.

• Proficiency in technical English is preferred.

🤝 Desired Profile:

• Bachelor's degree (Bac +3) to Master's degree (Bac +5) in Computer Science or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Rigor, customer service orientation, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.
