For an international trading company, based in Amsterdam (that actually places tech above traders!) I am looking for a Site Reliability Engineer, also known as Trading Engineer, also known as Linux & Automation master that likes to act in a fast paced - dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders globally.

In a team of 5 you will manage a Linux based Private Cloud (ao Kubernetes / Linux); managing Storage, Security, Big Data, Linux, Kubernetes amongst each other. You will be working in the team that is responsible for monitoring production systems, working alongside the traders to troubleshoot issues on the spot and work on improvements of the applications and infrastructure. (50% ops, 50% improvement).

Next to this, you will be speaking to different hubs of stakeholders (Developers, Traders, Infra Engineers, Support), taking ownerships of the different (global) projects that run simultaneously.

Tech requirements:

• 1+ and maximum of 4 years of experience as a Linux SRE/System Engineer
• Solid understanding of the Linux Operating System
• Scripting skills in Python
• Experience in maintaining Kubernetes clusters;
• Mindset for automation and coding in general;
• Strong communicator and interest to work in a chaotic and high-pressure environment. As the man in the middle you try and think steps ahead when it comes to speed; availability; stability and performance. This is your game and you like having an impact!

Salary: up to 120k OTE

Location: Amsterdam ON SITE – 4 days a week in the office required
