We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst / Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our client. The ideal candidate will play a key role in collecting business analytics requirements, integrating data from multiple sources, developing BI dashboards, and delivering actionable insights that drive business value.

You’ll collaborate closely with data engineers, business users, and leadership to design and develop reporting solutions that provide clear visibility into performance metrics and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather business analytics requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers to collect, clean, and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Develop, test, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and other BI tools.
• Perform advanced data analysis and exploration to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
• Manage BI tools and data workflows, ensuring efficient automation and data refresh processes.
• Deliver training and documentation for users to maximize adoption of BI solutions.
• Continuously improve existing dashboards and reports by adding new features, metrics, and optimizations.

Deliverables

• Fully developed and tested BI dashboards presenting key business metrics and insights.
• Custom departmental reports (finance, marketing, operations, etc.).
• Updated dashboards with new features and performance optimizations.
• Training session records and participant feedback.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, BI development, or analytics engineering.
• Proven experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, real-time dashboards, custom visuals).
• Advanced SQL skills, including window functions, subqueries, CTEs, and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Apache Airflow) and BI platforms (e.g., SSRS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a business-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of statistical methods (hypothesis testing, regression, ANOVA, forecasting).
• Experience in predictive modeling (regression, classification, clustering).
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts or leading small projects.
