This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer (Web3Auth) in EMEA.

In this role, you will take ownership of mobile onboarding experiences that support large-scale web3 adoption, ensuring reliability, security, and seamless extensibility across complex mobile architectures. You will work end-to-end across mobile platforms, contributing to core onboarding flows, integrating advanced authentication methods, and optimizing performance across devices. You'll collaborate with product, backend, and security teams to refine user journeys and elevate the overall onboarding experience. The position offers broad exposure to cutting-edge mobile technologies, decentralized identity models, and performance-critical mobile frameworks. It is ideal for engineers passionate about delivering intuitive and secure mobile experiences that can scale to millions of users.

Accountabilities

  • Lead improvements to the mobile onboarding architecture, ensuring reliability, security, and extensibility across core flows
  • Integrate new onboarding journeys such as MPC account creation and recovery, contributing to safer and more intuitive wallet experiences
  • Contribute directly to the React Native codebase and dive into native iOS or Android code when needed to integrate libraries or optimize performance
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring maintainability, consistency, and high-quality engineering standards
  • Optimize onboarding performance by reducing latency, identifying bottlenecks, and improving SDK integrations
  • Support architectural discussions and contribute documentation and best practices to help guide technical decisions


Requirements

  • Strong experience with React Native and Expo, capable of delivering smooth, reliable mobile onboarding experiences
  • Ability to work with native iOS or Android code to integrate libraries or fine-tune performance-critical components
  • Experience profiling and optimizing mobile apps to maintain fast and responsive onboarding flows
  • Ability to contribute to architectural debates with thoughtful input and a user-centric mindset
  • Experience with the Web3 ecosystem is a plus
  • Familiarity integrating Rust or C++ libraries into mobile applications is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and willingness to work in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment
