Technical Support Engineer
The main purpose of the role is to deliver premier customer experience through technical and product support for internal and external customers within a defineci product area, following I am Parker approach
Your Responsibilities
- Supporting our customers and distributors with technical help about our products on a first technical level. e.g. how to select the right part, how to choose the right material; replacement products, spare parts. Being the link to division Product Support and driving new product project follow-up
- ldentification of products and/or alternatives (obsolete, competitors) and contact Divisions when needed
- Provide training internally or for external customers
- Quoting
- Checking inquiries for completeness
- Consultation with pricing/quoting, field service, customers, customer service and Divisions in the event of clarifıcation requirements
- ldentification of articles and determination of alternatives
- Very good preparation of ali available information for high-quality requests to be forwarded to avoid aueries from and at interfaces
- BS degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or a similar discipline
- Analytical, self started, proactive and willing to take new challenges
- Strong customer orientation
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in technical and commercial operations
- Excellent mechanical comprehension with the ability to understand, describe and discuss problems of a technical nature
- Good command of both written and spoken English
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- No military obligation for male candidates
