We are looking for a Service Designer to join Services and Product Information (SAPI) team in Laerdal.
About the role:
We are looking for a Service Designer to join Services and Product Information (SAPI) team in Laerdal. SAPI owns the post-sales user journey and delivers clear, compliant, and engaging communication, ensuring customers around the world get the most out of our products.
As our Service Designer, you will design better services and solutions that improve healthcare education and patient outcomes. You’ll be part of a passionate, interdisciplinary team where communication, design, data, and technology come together to create meaningful impact and help save lives.
Some of what you will be doing:
- Design and implement user-centred service strategies that improve the customer experience.
- Conduct user research and validation to uncover insights and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — from content creators to product owners and developers — to align processes and deliver seamless experiences.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and service enhancement across the organization.
- Support a culture of design thinking and service design mindsets.
- Facilitate co-creation workshops.
- Apply a strategic and business-minded lens to service design, ensuring solutions are viable, scalable, and aligned with organisational goals.
Who we would envision would fit the role:
- A structured thinker who also thrives in creative, fast-moving environments.
- Comfortable balancing user needs with business priorities and translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Solid understanding of user research, journey mapping, and co-design methods.
- Skilled collaborator with excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in service design or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in service design, ideally in complex or cross-functional environments.
