Location: San Francisco, CA (100% On-site)
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $150K - $200K (Flexible for highly experienced candidates)
We are an ambitious, rapidly growing AI startup (recently raised a heavily oversubscribed $3.8M Seed round from top-tier VCs, including those early in OpenAI and Scale AI) focused on completely rebuilding the foundation of the massive Insurance Claims Processing industry. We are seeking a high-agency Fullstack Engineer to join our intensive, high-performance team. This is a role for engineers who thrive on extreme ownership and measurable customer impact.
This role requires a high level of performance, ambition, and ownership. You will be instrumental in defining and building core features end-to-end, working directly with founders and customers.
What You'll Do:
- Ship from Day 1: Integrate into the system immediately, deploying code to production on your first day, and taking full responsibility for its reliability
- Extreme Ownership: Own the entire feature lifecycle—from creating specifications and solving complex technical challenges to building features end-to-end
- Solve Every Problem: Take ownership of challenges across all aspects of the business, including deploying AI use cases with clients, designing and scaling core infrastructure, optimizing the codebase, and even contributing to hiring your future teammates
- Customer Impact: Work hands-on with clients to integrate solutions, iterate rapidly based on real-world feedback, and deliver measurable business results that drive optimal claims outcomes
- Experience: 1+ years of experience as a Software Engineer at a top-tier technology company or quant firm
- Technical Excellence: Clear signals of technical excellence and a strong backend focus, with the ability to work across the full stack
- Work Ethic & Ownership: Exceptional work ethic, performance-driven mindset, and a commitment to ownership—you actively seek out and solve problems rather than waiting for direction
- Ambition: High ambition, competitiveness, and a drive to be the best in your domain
- Visa: Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates
- Work Policy: Willingness and excitement to work in a high-intensity, demanding environment (e.g., "9-9-6" culture) 100% on-site in the San Francisco office
- Highly competitive salary ($150K - $200K, flexible for more tenured candidates) and significant early-stage equity (0.1% - 0.3%)
- Opportunity to join a mission-driven company with high growth and strong traction (six-figure ARR reached in just three months)
- Work alongside a competitive, high-caliber founding team from top global institutions (Oxford, Cambridge, ETH Zurich)
- Direct influence over technical direction and company culture
- Visa sponsorship available
