We’re looking for a Specialist Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise and cloud network infrastructure. This role is ideal for a highly skilled network professional with strong hands-on expertise in Cisco technologies, AWS cloud networking, and automation using Terraform and Python.

As part of our infrastructure and operations team, you’ll ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our global network environment while leading modernization and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, and hybrid cloud network architectures.
• Lead cloud networking initiatives across AWS (primary) and Azure (secondary) platforms — VPC, TGW, ALB/NLB, SG, IGW, VNet, and NSG configurations.
• Drive Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate network provisioning and management.
• Develop and maintain Python and VB scripts for network automation and operational efficiency.
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls in large enterprise environments.
• Configure and support VPNs (Ivanti Networks preferred), RSA security, and load balancers (F5 GTM/LTM).
• Perform 24/7 on-call support rotation and assist with incident management, escalation, and resolution.
• Monitor network performance and availability using SolarWinds and other enterprise-grade monitoring tools.
• Maintain and update Visio network diagrams, configuration documentation, and procedural standards.
• Support compliance, auditing, and hardening of network devices and configurations.

• Security: RSA Security, Checkpoint & Cisco Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Encryption, Authentication, Key Management
• Monitoring & Tools: SolarWinds, WhatsUp Gold, OpManager, Wireshark, Git, Jira
• Virtualization: VMware, VMware NSX
• Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, BGP, OSPF, VLANs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise or cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of OSI model, network design, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Cisco CCNA certification required (CCNP highly preferred).
• Proven experience in firewall configuration, security hardening, and VPN management.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
