Job Title: Java Spring Boot Developer

Position Overview: As a Java Spring Boot Developer at Mercedes Benz, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable solutions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate internal and customer-facing products seamlessly and ensure they meet the highest standards of reliability and efficiency. Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.

2. Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot applications for efficient integration of internal products.

3. Implement best practices for software development, including clean and well-documented code.

4. Design and develop front-end applications using Vue.js and Pinia to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces.

5. Work with databases, with a focus on PostgreSQL, to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.

6. Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes on the Azure cloud platform.

7. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance to meet organizational goals.

8. Stay updated on industry’s best practices, emerging technologies, and relevant trends.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

2. 2-5 years of professional experience in Java Spring Boot development.

3. Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.

4. Experience with PostgreSQL databases and SQL queries.

5. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes.

6. Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.

7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

1. Understanding of microservices architecture and API development.

2. Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

3. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vuejs, Pinia).

4. Previous experience with other Java frameworks (e.g., Spring MVC, Hibernate).

5. Understanding of Azure/AWS cloud

6. Understanding of Gitlab/ADO and pipelines
