Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes to join our global engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure to support our applications. You’ll collaborate closely with development and operations teams across time zones to ensure smooth deployments, high availability, and system reliability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-managed).
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
  • Ensure system scalability, security, and high availability across environments.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
  • Monitor and optimize infrastructure using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • Manage secrets, certificates, and service configurations securely.
  • Collaborate with teams across ET and IST time zones to support releases and resolve incidents.
  • Implement observability best practices to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident management processes.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles.
  • Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Strong background in Docker and container orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting.
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for distributed teams.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CKA / CKAD / AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
  • Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio) or ArgoCD / Flux.
  • Familiarity with GitOps principles and best practices.
  • Experience with cost optimization and performance tuning in Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with serverless or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Good to have: experience managing blockchain infrastructure (nodes, validators, or related DevOps workflows).


Work Schedule

  • Must have significant overlap between 5 AM – 2 PM ET for collaboration with both US and India-based teams.
  • Flexible working arrangements are available outside of core hours.
