App Developer – Contract

This role focuses on developing a mobile application designed to enhance vehicle safety checks for commercial fleets. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a solution that enables operators to scan QR codes placed around vehicles, ensuring that daily walk-round inspections are completed and logged efficiently. The project is remote and offers the opportunity to contribute to a system that improves safety and compliance in the transport sector. There is potential for ongoing collaboration following the initial project.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a mobile app (iOS and/or Android) for scanning and logging QR code checks on commercial vehicles
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define app requirements and user flows
• Implement secure user authentication and data storage solutions
• Integrate QR code scanning functionality and ensure reliable performance in various environments
• Develop a user-friendly interface for operators to confirm and record completed checks
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure app reliability and accuracy
• Provide technical documentation and support for deployment
