Full-Stack Developer

We're working with a FinTech scale-up in Ghent are looking for an ambitious Full-Stack Engineer to join their product team.

Our client develops a financial SaaS platform that helps businesses streamline their financial operations and make data-driven decisions with ease. The product is used by clients across Europe and is quickly gaining traction in the FinTech market.

As part of a close-knit engineering team, you will work end-to-end on new product features and play a key role in shaping the technical direction of the platform. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers in an agile environment where ownership and independence are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable features for a modern FinTech SaaS platform.
• Work across the stack using React on the front end and Ruby (Ruby on Rails) on the back end.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and improve code quality and development processes.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and agile ceremonies within a supportive team culture.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on full-stack web development.
• Solid experience with React and Ruby.
• Familiar with modern cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
• Passion for clean code and building products that have a real-world financial impact.
• A team player with strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
