Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team, supporting the development, deployment, and operations of our CI/CD pipelines and DevOps infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools, strong problem-solving abilities, and the autonomy to manage both operational support and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Manage and monitor containerized applications running on OpenShift and Docker.
- Administer and secure artifact repositories with Nexus.
- Collaborate with development teams using Bitbucket or GitLab for version control.
- Integrate and manage security scanning tools such as Snyk.
- Use Jira for backlog tracking, task management, and incident reporting.
- Provide support to developers and resolve issues in the DevOps environment.
- Lead or participate in small-scale improvement projects to enhance automation, reliability, and performance.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, reporting blockers and risks proactively.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift and Docker.
- Proven proficiency in Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
- Solid understanding of Nexus repository management.
- Experience with Git-based repositories (Bitbucket preferred).
- Familiarity with Snyk or equivalent security scanning tools.
- Working knowledge of Jira for backlog and issue tracking.
Nice to Have
- Scripting experience (Bash, Groovy, or similar).
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Knowledge of Camunda, Kafka, or ELK stack.
Soft Skills
- Autonomous and proactive; able to manage priorities independently.
- Strong communication skills, particularly for cross-team collaboration and issue reporting.
- Experienced in incident management, developer support, and DevOps environment improvement.
- Organized and able to manage a Jira backlog efficiently.
Languages : Fluent English + French or Dutch
