We are currently looking for a Project Management Officer (PMO) for one of our clients in the financial sector, based in Brussels


Your responsibilities

Project Coordination & Support

  • Support project managers and stakeholders in the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure the proper documentation and tracking of project deliverables, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Facilitate coordination between business, IT, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management standards and methodologies.

Requirements & Process Management

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business, stakeholder, solution, and transition requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and subject matter experts to align business needs with technology strategies.
  • Analyze and design new business processes, and identify opportunities for efficiency and optimization.
  • Define key performance indicators and success metrics for project tracking and reporting.

Quality & Risk Management

  • Participate in project reviews, design assessments, and quality management sessions to ensure alignment with requirements.
  • Support test preparation and execution by translating requirements into test conditions and expected results.
  • Monitor and manage project risks and dependencies to ensure proactive mitigation.

Governance & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, dashboards, and progress reports.
  • Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and internal control standards.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in project management, business analysis, or PMO roles.
  • Strong experience with requirements management and conceptual modelling techniques.
  • Good understanding of IT systems, testing, and workflow processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Languages:

  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English (spoken and written).
