Join us to lead the Legal & Risk team within the Product department. This role of this platform team is to ensure that all systems and contracts are legally compliant, keep the fraud and AML cases to a minimum and help with creditworthiness assessment setup. Product Owner is the team lead in charge of Legal & Risk strategy and engineering.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for compliance improvements, risk and fraud technical implementations and other legal functions of ESTO's products
  • Manage a team of engineers to execute business needs based on the roadmap
  • Partner with Legal and Credit departments to ensure compliant systems and proper implementations of crediworthiness assessment rules
  • Improve and maintain the systems for performing regular compliance checks for internal rules, AML and fraud cases, and creditworthiness assessments
  • Push for innovative ideas within your areas of responsibility

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: 4+ years in Product Ownership/Management, preferably in fintech/banking/legal;
  • Legal fluency: ability to understand legal documents, regulations, communication style with lawyers, risk assessments
  • Communication and documentation: crisp specifications, metrics-driven decision-making, and clear stakeholder updates in English
  • Engineering management: experience working with engineers and executing technical projects from scratch
  • Precision and pedantry: default mode of operating must be to pay attention to details and ensure every checkbox is checked
