As an Analytics Engineer, Financial Reporting, you’ll take ownership of a significant part of the semantic data layer that everyone at Bondora relies on daily. It’s a rare chance to be part of a culture where everyone is expected to be data literate and data analytics is an enabler rather than a convenience. You’ll also be a key member of the team that is turning Bondora into a pan-European bank.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Define and execute the analytics roadmap derived from reporting obligations of the company and yearly product plans.
- Mentor analysts on technical excellence and best practices.
- Improve employee experience and productivity working with data through model design, tooling and operational quality.
- Ensure data quality, availability and optimal resource consumption.
- Lead complex cross-company analytical initiatives, from proposals to results.
- As part of the Data team, achieve and own coherent data model design across the company.
- Proven experience as an Analytics Engineer responsible for data model design and delivery of complex pipelines.
- Strong background and hands-on experience in Python and SQL
- Familiarity with data warehousing tooling, preferably dbt and Databricks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and business.
- Outcome-focused and previous experience with financial data and regulatory reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a mindset of continuous improvement
- Bonus points if you have relevant experience at a credit provider or a bank.
