Artificient Mobility Intelligence is seeking a Senior iOS Developer to help architect, build, and scale our core mobile technologies. You will work closely with our founding team and lead major development initiatives that shape the future of our mobility intelligence platform.

Artificient Mobility Intelligence is a deep-tech spin-off from RWTH Aachen building predictive AI for mobility ecosystems.

Our smartphone-based SDK and app are already live across 3 continents, serving over 15,000+ users — and rapidly scaling.

• Leading requirement analysis and translating product needs into technical solutions.
• Architecting and implementing complex, scalable application structures.
• Driving the design and development of our iOS SDK and mobile applications.
• Ensuring seamless integration with external APIs, backend systems, and real-time services.
• Optimizing data flow, performance, and reliability across the entire mobile stack.
• Implementing comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, automated tests).
• Managing App Store releases, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with AI engineers, backend developers, and product teams.
• Reviewing code, mentoring junior developers, and enforcing best practices.
• Staying up-to-date with iOS technologies, frameworks, and emerging industry trends.
• Providing long-term maintenance, debugging, and technical leadership.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Expert knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI, including advanced language features.
• Strong understanding of iOS frameworks, UIKit, concurrency, Combine, and modern app architectures.
• Deep expertise in MVVM, Clean Architecture, or other scalable design approaches.
• Mastery of SOLID principles, dependency injection, and modular code organization.
• Strong experience integrating RESTful APIs, networking frameworks, and offline data handling.
• Proficient with unit testing frameworks, test-driven development, and CI workflows.
• Solid experience with Git, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience deploying and maintaining production apps or SDKs used at scale.
• Proactive communicator with the ability to guide technical discussions and mentor others.

• Experience with CoreMotion, CoreLocation, or sensor data processing.
• Background in AI/ML, mobility tech, or data-intensive applications.
• Experience in startup environments or fast-paced product teams.
