We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing our platform, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and ensuring robust and scalable solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain high-performance applications hosted on AWS.

Location: Hybrid/Office in Dublin

Responsibilities:

▪️Develop and maintain high-quality software using Java 17+ and the Quarkus framework.

▪️Design, build, and optimize scalable and resilient applications on AWS.

▪️Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions.

▪️Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

▪️Utilize REST and gRPC for creating and consuming APIs.

▪️Implement and manage continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Git and Gradle.

▪️Work with relational databases (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases to ensure optimal data storage and retrieval.

▪️Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.

▪️Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues.

Qualifications:

▪️Bachelorʼs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

▪️5+ years of professional experience in Java development.

▪️Strong proficiency in Java 17+ and the Quarkus framework.

▪️Proven experience with AWS services and cloud-based/microservices architecture Solid understanding of REST and gRPC for API development.
