Due to continued growth, we are currently hiring an ICT Programme Manager to join our client in Dublin. Our consultancy specialises in providing business and technology services to clients in all sectors.

You will be delivering high-quality, reliable ICT services to internal and external stakeholders in various ICT environments through a programme of projects and business-as-usual programmes.
A snapshot of your key responsibilities:
- Management of vendors and managed service providers to ensure all services and projects are delivered to contracted SLA’s.
- Report on vendor performance and security posture. Monitor and report on financial and budget positions for vendors.
- Monitor and manage ICT systems to ensure high levels of ICT service are delivered to the business owners, stakeholders and the Public.
- Regular meeting with key stakeholders (business) along with the vendors, to assess the service being delivered. Regular meetings with the vendors to view key metrics and drive service improvements.
- Identity and Access management, including User Access Management reviews.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning and testing of ICT systems and backups. Management of system changes in line with policy.
- Maintain accuracy/completeness of relevant system configuration documentation.
- Assist in the development and documentation of ICT policies and procedures; and document and monitor adherence to policies.
- Liaise with 3rd parties and develope system interfaces with public sector bodies.
- ICT lifecycle management and roadmap development.
- ICT infrastructure planning, consolidation, rationalisation.
- Contribute to procurement and contract activities as required.
- 5+ years of recent experience in technical architecture, system design, system management, or technical project management work, including 3+ years of experience in the management of technology-related projects.
- Project Management qualification like Prince2 or PMP.
- ITIL v4 Foundation level.
- Experience and knowledge of the following key technologies:
- Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, Cloud Security, Cloud hosting management, Website development, Containerisation
- Microsoft Server technologies: MS Server, MS SQL, AD, Entra ID
- Microsoft SaaS technologies: SharePoint, MS Dynamics
- Microsoft Desktop technologies: M365 Suite, Intune
- Mobile phones: IOS, Android
- Network technologies: Cisco, Fortinet, Utopia, LAN/WAN management
- Hardware technologies: SAN storage, Dell, HyperConverged
- Virtualisation technologies: Citrix, AVD, VMWare
- ServiceNow
- A record of achievement in career to date, demonstrating management skills, including ability to provide leadership and direction in a complex ICT organisation.
- Experience managing vendors to ensure performance is in line with SLA’s.
- Experience of financial management and budget control for contracted and additional professional services.
- Excellent knowledge of recent technology developments and roadmaps.
- Ability to network with peers and vendors and develop relationships.
- Ability to lead teams, develop team skills, and influence organisational change.
- Experience managing competing demands of stakeholders and customers.
- Customer service orientation in relation to Service Management, e.g. ITIL.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with a track record of successful proposals for business improvements.
- Intellectual/thinking style – includes analysis, problem solving, capability of identifying opportunities, generating new ideas, medium to long-term and strategic thinking.
