Wallee requires a team of experienced and UX designers to achieve our mission of providing the best payment experience to customers on the market. We use Scrum processes to organize our teams in multiple countries. We build technology leading payment systems that require a high degree of robustness, scalability and security. As we're disruptors of the payment market we're constantly pushing our solutions into new areas.

The UX Designer's main objective is to simplify our complex product ecosystem and create consistent user experience across all platforms. This includes payment terminals, mobile applications, and the merchant portal.

Requirements

Tasks:

  • Cross-Product UX Design: Design and optimize user experiences across a variety of products — including payment terminals, mobile payment apps, merchant portal, and related applications
  • UX Design & Prototyping: Develop wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to visualize user interactions and product functionality based on high-level business, functional, and technical requirements
  • UI Design: Deliver high-fidelity visual mockups that align with our brand identity and support consistent interfaces across devices
  • Design System Management: Maintain, and evolve a unified design system to ensure a consistent look and feel across all products and platforms
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to ensure smooth user experience
  • User Advocate: Identify opportunities to improve the user experience and deliver business value

Qualifications:

  • Fluent English
  • 2-4 years of professional experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools - we use Figma
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; comfortable working with cross-functional and international teams
  • Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail, consistency, and brand alignment
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design principles
