Senior iOS Developer (with optional Full-Stack Growth Path + Shares)

AutiHD
Luxembourg · Other · Mid-Senior

We are AutiHD, a Luxembourg neurotechnology startup developing Mindory - an AI-supported daily companion for emotional balance, planning support, and calmer life routines for neurodivergent people (ADHD / Autism).

We are searching for a Senior iOS Developer who wants to join at the product-shaping stage. Initial engagement can be part-time and unpaid, with transition to core contributor status and equity allocation after probation.

Your Role

Your primary ownership will be the Mindory iOS app, improving UX, stability, feature depth, and calm interaction patterns. Backend contribution is welcome but not required — the main focus is high-quality iOS development.

If you do have backend experience, there is space to grow into full-stack ownership over time, but we do not require it initially.

Key Responsibilities (Concrete Work)

iOS / Frontend (Primary Focus)

  • Implement new app features in SwiftUI and Combine.
  • Improve emotional comfort and accessibility of UI (neurodivergent-friendly UX).
  • Optimize onboarding, routines, planning flows, notifications, and user guidance.
  • Maintain API integration and offline-first smoothness.
  • Collaborate on product decisions, prototypes, and experiments.

Backend (Optional / Plus, Not Mandatory)

If you want to be involved:

  • Extend Node.js + TypeScript backend endpoints.
  • Collaborate on data models with PostgreSQL (TypeORM).
  • Help design scalable and secure backend workflows.

If you don’t want backend, this is perfectly fine — we have backend support already.

Tech Stack You’ll Work With

  • iOS: SwiftUI, Combine, StoreKit, HealthKit (light usage), Local caching strategy
  • Backend (optional): Node.js, Nest-style TypeScript architecture, PostgreSQL, Redis
  • AI Integration: Claude / GPT orchestration layer
  • Infrastructure: AWS + GitHub Actions

Requirements

Must Have

  • 6+ years iOS development (Swift / SwiftUI).
  • Ability to design, refine, and ship product features independently.
  • Strong sense for clean architecture, UI detail, and user experience.
  • Responsible communication and ownership mindset.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Backend experience (Node.js / TypeScript / PostgreSQL).
  • Experience building habit trackers, calm planning tools, journaling, or chat UX.
  • Personal interest in mental health, neurodivergence, or behavior-support design.

Compensation & Growth Model

The role starts part-time (around 20 hours per week, flexible) for the first 1–3 months.

During this initial period, the position is unpaid, as we focus on getting to know each other and aligning on the project goals.

After this stage, the role can continue or expand, with financial compensation plus equity or shares.

We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us — starting with a focus on the iOS core, and evolving into a key contributor role within the team.

We want you as a partner, not as a task executor.

Why this matters

  • Mindory already has real users, traction, paid subscriptions, and strong demand.
  • Backed by Fit4Start + private investment.
  • Your work directly impacts people’s daily emotional wellbeing.
  • We move fast, transparently, and collaboratively.
