Software Engineer
Location: Luxembourg (onsite)
Contract Duration: 31.03.26. (possible extension)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team for an onsite mission. In this role, you will focus on software engineering while building deep expertise within the financial sector, including Banking and Investment Funds. You will collaborate closely with business and financial experts to deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain data-intensive applications, working extensively with APIs, Python, and SQL.
- Apply agile methodologies (SCRUM) in day-to-day workflows.
- Follow best practices across the entire development lifecycle, including clean code, quality assurance, and CI/CD.
- Work closely with financial experts and maintain daily contact with business teams to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business needs.
- Provide clear visibility to stakeholders regarding delivery scope, progress, risks, and issues.
- Leverage or grow skills in front-end development—knowledge of Vue.js is a strong asset.
About You
- Hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Have approximately 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- Are familiar with code quality practices and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Are eager to learn new technologies and expand your understanding of the financial industry.
- Have a strong interest in AI technologies and associated tooling.
- Demonstrate a collaborative, proactive mindset and enjoy contributing to team success.
- Possess exceptional communication skills, including the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Exhibit strong analytical and organisational abilities.
- Are fluent in English; French is considered an asset.
