Our client, a global leader in technology, advisory, and digital transformation, is expanding its engineering team in Luxembourg. We’re searching for a passionate Software Engineer who wants to deepen their expertise in financial services while working with modern technologies, smart colleagues, and real-world data challenges.

What You Will Do

As part of a high-performing engineering team, you will:

• Build data-intensive applications and work on API-driven architectures using Python and SQL
• Contribute to software solutions across banking, investment funds, and other financial sectors
• Apply Agile/SCRUM methodologies in your daily work
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code, following best practices in QA, testing, and CI/CD
• Collaborate closely with financial experts and business teams to translate needs into solutions
• Provide clear visibility on progress, challenges, and delivery expectations to stakeholders
• Work within a culture that values engineering excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement
• (Nice to have) Bring knowledge of Vue.js or interest in learning it

About You

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5 years of experience as a software engineer
• Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and API development
• A commitment to writing clean, testable code
• Experience with Agile delivery, code quality, and continuous integration
• Curiosity for learning new technologies, especially AI and emerging tooling
• A proactive, team-first mindset where knowledge-sharing is natural
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Fluency in English - French is a plus
