We are looking for a Senior JAVA Developer – Luxembourg (On-site)
We are seeking an experienced Development Engineer to support several software teams as a Facilitator. In this transversal role, you’ll help accelerate technical transitions, strengthen code quality and security, and provide support during workload peaks.
You will work on applications mainly built in Java/JavaScript, contribute to continuous improvements in a DevSecOps-oriented environment, and collaborate with teams using tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, SonarQube, and AppScan.
Your Responsibilities
- Support and guide development teams across multiple applications
- Improve code quality and security (SonarQube, AppScan)
- Assist with transitions, migrations, and obsolescence management
- Participate in technical meetings and produce clear documentation
- Contribute to DevSecOps practices and process maturity
- Conduct technical research, audits, and technology watch
- Deliver presentations, training, and proofs of concept
Your Technical Skills
- Strong background in Java / JavaScript development
- Experience with Spring Boot, JUnit, GitOps
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Oracle
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps tooling & concepts
- Awareness of cybersecurity best practices
- AWS cloud experience is a plus
Your Profile
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience (Web/JEE development)
- Ability to switch between projects with autonomy and organisation
- Strong analytical skills and ability to step back and see the big picture
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Comfortable in an agile environment
- Fluent English (C-level). French is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree
- EU nationality or valid Luxembourg work permit
