As a TechOps Engineer, you will be responsible for operational support, maintenance and optimization of our SaaS and non-Saas applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability , performance and security of our applications’ ecosystems. You will utilize Azure DevOps for application deployments, Datadog and Opsgenie for monitoring and ServiceNow as ticketing platform.
Responsibilities:
Application Support:
- Provide operational support for SaaS, non-SaaS applications
- Monitor application performance and availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues
Maintenance and Optimization
- Responsible for operational performance and producing plans to optimize product performance and to ensure application health
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Ensures Configuration items accurately reflect in line with agreed changes
- Responsible for server-sizing and architecture design and to ensure the service and architectural design is constantly aligned across clusters, as needed
Incident Management
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to overcome complexities, resolve issues and successfully steer their team towards delivering a quality service
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Applies knowledge to direct the resolution of issues and provide thought leadership on delivering new requirements / services and improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve application performance bottlenecks
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams
- Understanding the demands on the service and future plans for workload growth / shrinkage
- Regular review and updates of documentation (SOPs, FAQs, etc)
Security and Compliance
- Ensure applications adhere to security policies and standards
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits
- Implement security best practices for application management
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation and follow BAO processes to document & implement.
Requirements:
- Expertise in the technical implementation and operation of mission critical IT services
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud environments and services.
- Certification for Azure Fundamental and Administration Skill.
- Proficiency in using Azure DevOps for CI/CD processes.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, particularly Datadog.
- Expertise working with windows server systems and demonstrable history of root cause analysis on production issues
- Comprehensive understanding of a complex suite of IT applications / components.
- Able to work as a team leader and work collaboratively with all members of the team in the delivery of the services
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and regulatory compliance is vital to safeguard sensitive data and maintain security standards
- Apply knowledge to comply with the Firmwide Technology Governance, processes and policies
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Experience working in an ITIL-based framework
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
