Position Key Responsibilities

As part of the Summit program organized under Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Edenred mobility is looking for a Product Owner responsible of building one of its applications.


The Product Owner will:


  • Build strong user stories supporting Tribe priority initiatives
  • Work with Product manager to articulate the Epics defined at Tribe level into stories for the squad
  • Deliver EV product roadmap
  • Work with the user experience team (user research, UX, UI) to fine tune the experience to be suitable for user stories
  • Create and demonstrate a strong understanding of EV users’ and customers’ needs.
  • Write User Stories in collaboration with the Product Manager and the other Product Owners
  • Define acceptance criteria in Gherkin format and work with QA to automate the testing of stories and continuously improve the testing
  • Feed, refine, improve Product Backlog to optimize the value delivered to users and customers
  • Prioritize the User Stories according to the business priorities
  • Run the backlog grooming to present to the squad the stories that will be reviewed and estimated in the next sprint planning
  • Manage bug fixing: assess the criticality, prioritize, track delivery
  • Help the squad’s developers understand the business requirements
  • Understand and prioritize the Technical Stories proposed by the squad’s developers and the Defect Stories
  • Answer all clarification requests from the squad’s developers about stories being developed
  • Lead the agile rituals with the squad (Backlog grooming, Sprint Planning, Daily, Sprint Demo, Sprint retrospective) with the support of the scrum master (the scrum master organizes and facilitates the rituals)
  • Using acceptance criteria, validate the stories developed by the squad
  • Approve or reject the stories developed, providing constructive feedback
  • Ensure the non-regression of new features
  • Contribute to the documentation of the released features (demos, release notes, product documentation, training material)
  • Monitor product metrics in order to:
  • Better handle quality issues
  • Evaluate the impacts of the released features
  • Evaluate the previous product versions currently in production to identify issues and improvements to feed the Product Backlog

Internal program stakeholders (departments within the entity or withing the Group):

  • Product Managers, Tech Leads and Release Train Engineers
  • Junior Product Owners
  • Business Architects, IT Solution Architects, Business Analysts, other Product Owners
  • Developers, Product Designers, Scrum Masters, QA Analysts and QA Engineers
  • Managers of Operations, Sales, Marketing and Accounting


External stakeholders:

  • Users representing the Customers, mainly fleet managers and drivers
  • 3rd party system owners


Required skills & profile

  • >5 years work experience as a Product Owner in an agile team working of both front-end experience and back-end systems, in a fast-moving and innovative company (start-up, scale-up, or any tech-driven company)


Knowledge and skills

  • Experience in fellow product team management or mentoring
  • Strong business insight, understanding customers’ needs and business requirements
  • Ensuring the consistency and relevancy of functional decisions and priorities at all times
  • Good understanding of vision, roadmap and backlog management at programme level
  • Experience in backlog creation, refinement and prioritization
  • Good general understanding of technology and ability to understand the development cycle
  • Understanding of the agile principles and how they are applied in the workplace
  • Knowledge and good practice of the SCRUM and SAFe frameworks
  • Proven track record of delivery proficiency (i.e. experiences have positive measurable outcomes for the customers)
  • Problem solver who can clearly identify, analyses, and resolve issues using Data Driven Decisions as they arise
  • Capacity to handle dependencies cross teams
  • Using data and metrics to assess and monitor the impact of products
  • Familiar with Frontend development technologies (angular, CMS, javascript, html and css)
  • Familiar with Backend development, REST API, databases, customer notifications systems
  • Previous technical experience (for example as SW developer or QA) is not required but it is a big plus. As more details about the technical part, the developers you will be interacting with use Angular, Java/Spring Boot and REST APIs for a microservices architecture solution.
  • Experience in EV digital application is a plus
