Your role

Saab Aeronautics Security department is dedicated to contribute to the creation of business value, to protect our people, assets and reputation, as well as enable and support profitable business in the global marketplace.

This Security specialist is responsible for security support in the Win-Business-process at Saab Business area (BA) Aeronautics. You will execute this responsibility in close cooperation with sales- and marketing functions, with support from your colleagues at Saab Aeronautics security department and other relevant functions, such as IT, Legal, Export Control, Ethics and Compliance, Property and other security functions within Saab.

You will play an active role in Aeronautics efforts in marketing & sales activities of the Gripen system.

You will support Customer Sales Representative (CSR)/ Product sales representative (PSR)/ Campaign leader/ Risk and Opportunity Coordinator with:

• handling security and security-related risks at sales and marketing locations in Sweden and abroad
• conducting governance, compliance and risk assessment activities within your area of responsibility
• providing security training and awareness for Saab employees, business partners and customers
• managing security at exhibitions and events involving sensitive Aeronautics products
• supporting incident and crisis management, as well as travel and site security arrangements
  
  
  

Your profile

To take on this challenge as Security specialist you need to be a socially skilled person who has an easy way of making contacts and to cooperate inside and outside the company. You are comfortable in taking decisions and have a high degree of integrity. You take pride in your interest of security management. You keep yourself informed and updated about changes in legislation or requirements within your area of responsibility.

You have good knowledge and experience from international business operations and understand what kind of threats a company like Saab must handle.

Required skills:

• University degree in security or risk management, or equivalent experience (5+ years)
• Experience from international work and preferably international security operations
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Good business understanding and commercial awareness
• Knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, standards, and best practices in security
• High ethical standards, integrity, and ability to pass a background screening
• Experience in incident and crisis management
  
  
  

Desired skills:

• Background from police, military, or public/private security organizations
• Experience with security requirements, including Swedish protective security and international standards (e.g. ISO 27001)
• Experience leading projects and coordinating cross-functional work
• Strong presentation and communication skills for diverse audiences
  
  
  

This Security specialist is preferably stationed in Linköping and the position requires frequent international travel.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
