Back End Developer

Our client, a leading AI-focused company, is looking for a Staff or Principal Backend Engineer to join their team and help build the infrastructure that powers cutting-edge AI applications.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems powering AI solutions.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
• Work with databases such as Postgres, vector databases, OpenSearch, or Elasticsearch.
• Serve and optimize inference of Large Language Models (LLMs) in production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable backend solutions.

What You Bring:

• 8–10+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer at Staff or Principal level.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with database systems (Postgres, vector DBs, OpenSearch, Elasticsearch).
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of serving and optimizing LLM inference in production.
• Proven ability to architect and deliver high-performance backend systems.
