We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager - Northern Europe (Nordics - Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway)

to join our expanding team.

As the Business Development Manager- Northern Europe you will be recruiting new and existing regional channel partners and working with end users to achieve set sales targets for the Nordics and Baltics regions for Sepura. You will be responsible for developing new markets and verticals and ensuring existing market verticals are expanded to new users.

Role

As a proven Business Development Manager you will be driving the growth of Sepura in Northern Europe and the wider critical communications industry. You will be responsible for working with the existing Sepura partners in territories we are already successful in and working new opportunities in market sectors that are new to Sepura.

You will be using your experience gained either in the Telecommunications or wireless industry and using your network of contacts expand the addressable customer base for Sepura Products. With a background in Business Development with Government Customers, large regional Systems Integrators and channel partners you will be driving sales through existing or new partners.

You will have a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets through channel partners into both Commercial and Government sectors. You will be a critical thinker looking at how to position Sepura into different verticals selling the value add of our products and services to end customers and partners alike.

Initially working closely with the existing Business Development Manager, Marketing, Product Strategy and our Sales Engineering Team you will develop a strategy to address key clients across the assigned territory.

Day To Day

Our customer base includes many different industries and markets around the world. Our portfolio delivers world leading device solutions using TETRA and LTE technologies that have been developed specifically for users in multiple sectors to face their critical communications challenges.

Responsibilities

There is no such thing as a typical day here at Sepura. You will be supported by your manager and team, as well as collaborating with other departments across the business. Business Development activities you will be responsible for include:

  • Responsible for the sales targets of the assigned Nordics and Baltics territories.
  • Engage with partners and end users on a solution selling basis.
  • Respond to tenders and requests for information from partners and end users.
  • Manage Channel conflict to ensure margins are protected and the value of Sepura products are clear to end users.
  • Plan business cases for new services and features for the existing products to enhance customer retention and customer loyalty.
  • Engage with key stakeholders in new verticals and sectors to promote Sepura products and increase the overall market share of Sepura in the critical communications market in Northern Europe.
  • Plan trade shows and lead conference speaker slots to promote Sepura and the company strategy to maximise market opportunities in our chosen market sectors.
  • Willingness to work throughout the region as well as occasional visits to key events which could be anywhere in the world.

This job involves extensive travelling so the successful applicant will have a full, clean driving licence, own car, and valid passport. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. It is anticipated that around 50% of the time will be spent travelling regionally in Northern Europe with some overseas travel to the UK for Sepura HQ visits.



What You Need To Succeed

  • Proven track record of increasing revenue and meeting set sales targets in Business Development in a LMR, wireless or Telecommunications environment.
  • High level customer engagement skills. Able to reach out to all seniority levels in organisations.
  • Ideally experience in both Government sales as well as other critical markets (transport, mining, utilities, military).
  • Proven ability to engage in the end user environment with diverse customer needs.
  • Ability to present to high level management on sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Ability to present at industry and Sepura events, articulating Sepura strategy and vision.
  • Outgoing and approachable manner.
  • Available for local and international travel.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation capabilities.
  • Exceptional communications skills.
  • Confident public speaker and presenter.
  • Fluent in English as a minimum, preferably other regional languages.
