DevOps Lead

Edison Smart is proud to partner with an Abu Dhabi–based tech company who is looking for a DevOps Lead to own and scale the infrastructure behind a fast-growing platform and gaming ecosystem. This hands-on role combines technical execution with strategic leadership, ensuring reliability, automation, security and smooth delivery across all environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage infrastructure across multi-environment setups.
• Own IaC (Terraform or similar) and drive cloud infrastructure improvements.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and internal tooling to boost developer productivity.
• Oversee monitoring, alerting, observability, and incident response.
• Implement strong security practices, including access control, networking, and audits.
• Act as the owner of the DevOps roadmap while collaborating closely with engineering and leadership teams.

Requirements

Must-Have

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS/DigitalOcean beneficial).
• Expertise in CI/CD, automation, Docker/Kubernetes, and observability tools.
• Solid networking and security fundamentals.
• Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing mindset.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with gaming or high-concurrency systems.
• Exposure to compliance or security audits.
