Job Description
Amaris Consulting is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join an international digital transformation program.
This position requires strong experience working in B2B environments, complex industries, and the ability to lead UX/UI projects from scratch—from discovery to delivery.
The role offers the possibility to work remotely from anywhere in Europe.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to transform complex requirements into intuitive, consistent, and scalable user experiences.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX activities, from user research and persona creation to information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Conduct workshops and user interviews to understand business requirements, user behavior, and the challenges of complex B2B and regulated environments.
- Work closely with product managers, architects, and front-end developers to ensure designs are user-centered, technically feasible, and aligned with product goals.
- Translate functional requirements into high-fidelity mock-ups and UI components using Figma, while contributing to the evolution of the client’s design system.
- Maintain a strong feedback loop through agile iterations, co-creation sessions, and regular user testing.
- Ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability across all screens, components, and interaction patterns.
- Support development teams during implementation and conduct design QA to ensure visual and interaction fidelity.
- Document and communicate UX decisions, research insights, and design rationales.
- Design tools: Figma, Miro, FigJam, Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
- Prototyping: Interactive components & clickable user flows (Figma)
- Collaboration: Agile/Scrum environment (Jira, Confluence)
- Front-end collaboration: React.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Design system: Based on the client’s design language and extended for project needs
Experience & Education
- Degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in UX/UI design for complex web applications or SaaS platforms.
- Strong background working in B2B environments and complex or highly regulated industries, such as banking, fintech, aerospace, defense, cybersecurity, telecommunications, or the public sector.
- Proven experience leading UX/UI initiatives from scratch, owning the full design lifecycle (discovery, research, IA, prototyping, testing, delivery) as a senior designer.
- Excellent knowledge of UX research methodologies, usability testing, and information architecture.
- Strong ability to create user journeys, wireframes, mock-ups, and scalable design systems.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative delivery.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to translate technical constraints into clear UX decisions.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to bridge users, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; French is an asset.
- Possibility to work remotely from Europe.
