What You’ll Do As a Mobile Developer

• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other teams with a flexible, team-first mindset to solve problems and achieve company goals
• Design, develop, test, debug, and demonstrate new capabilities throughout the full software development lifecycle in an agile environment
• Take initiative in proposing and implementing application changes to address business needs.
• Provide technical direction and perform regular code reviews to promote good software development practices and strengthen leadership skills
• Conduct critical analysis on code, performance, system risk, security, and software reliability, ensuring continual testing, proofing, and tuning for quality and usability
• Support, maintain, and document new capabilities developed by the team
• Communicate effectively to articulate your team’s work to peers, product owners, and other stakeholders
• Always prioritize the user’s needs and wants in development, testing, and optimization efforts
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of mobile application development using object-oriented design, with understanding of Android, iOS, or React Native components and their lifecycles
• Experience with mobile database management (MySQL, SQLite, Room, Firebase, Realm etc.)
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with test and build frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Gradle, etc.)
• Track record of designing and developing applications for Google Play or App Store
• Experience working closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, engineers, DevOps, and testers to deliver quality mobile app experiences
