Senior Unity Developer

In cooperation with the leading global provider of maps, traffic, and places data enabling navigation, location-based services, and mobile advertising around the world, Intellias is looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer to participate in developing an in-car navigation product.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of commercial experience in Unity development and C# programming;
• Strong knowledge of C# programming language;
• Excellent knowledge of Unity - rendering pipelines/techniques, 2D/3D, tools, API modelling etc.;
• Solid knowledge of basic algorithms, data structures and vector math;
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns;
• Good exposure to CI/CD;
• Excellent analytical and optimization skills;
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile;
• Ability to work independently with no supervision;
• Pro-active, pragmatic attitude: building solutions over writing papers;
• Passion for continuous improvement and experimentation;
• Desire to learn and expand your skill set;
• Highly communicative English skills both written and spoken.

What’s nice to have:

• Knowledge of graphics APIs, graphical algorithms, 3D rendering, or similar technologies e.g. game engine development;
• Previous experience in Navigation/Automotive, Location technologies;
• Experience working with embedded systems and hardware;
• Experience with open source and open map data technologies and products;
• Experience with car navigation software design;
• Experience with JIRA / Confluence (User knowledge).

What you’ll do

• Write a highly optimized Unity3D, C# code;
• Participate in technical discussions to find the right architecture/design solution;
• Develop new features;
• Provide design, implementation and complete testing of new features in supported programming languages;
• Write a highly optimized code;
• Design interfaces and implementation to support reusability, testability and modularity;
• Integrate our solution with other parts of the Navigation platform;
• Ensure the features are integrated on the target platforms in a way that meets the customer's expectations.
