We are seeking a Program Manager on a contract basis. In this role, you will lead complex cross-functional programs that advance the PMO’s FY26 strategy for operational excellence. You will strengthen program management processes, introduce governance standards, and drive adoption of best practices across multiple teams.
Your impact will be measurable—helping streamline operations, reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enable smarter decision-making. The initial contract length is three months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance.
In this role, you will be expected to lead complex cross-functional programs that drive a range of capabilities, including supporting strategic planning, portfolio management and governance, and ad hoc initiatives for leadership. You will also play a key role in maturing program management processes, tools, and systems across teams.
Key to this role is the ability to gather and document business requirements for internal tools and systems and translate them into Technical Design Documents for submission to software development teams. You will also assist the tools and systems lead in the BPR PMO prioritize the product backlog of feature requests across multiple tools and systems. Central to your success will be the development and execution of a strong change management and communications strategy that enables smooth transitions and lasting impact.
Responsibilities
- Act as a business analyst to gather requirements across different functional teams, translate them into design documents and user journeys for submission to software development teams.
- Create use case scenarios and end user journeys for multiple processes.
- Create testing plans as well as tracking systems to ensure timely completion of testing.
- Lead testing efforts and walk business user acceptance testers through the testing process.
- Create end-user documentation and training materials.
- Build business cases for prioritized projects and create leadership presentations to secure advocacy and resourcing.
- Assess tools and systems used across functions; recommend consolidation and implement governance standards.
- Define metrics and reporting to track progress and measure success; establish dashboards and scorecards.
- Lead complex, cross-functional projects while demonstrating excellence in program and portfolio management.
- Develop standardized templates, frameworks, and operating structures; drive adoption across teams.
- Know where to drive standardization and where to allow for flexibility and creativity.
- Deploy strong change management and communication strategies to ensure smooth transitions.
- Facilitate meetings including driving the agenda and driving to closure on key decisions.
- Take over PMO related tasks to run day-to-day operations and reporting.
- Solid experience managing and leading complex, cross-functional projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong understanding of project, program, and portfolio planning with the ability to propose standards, set policies, and coach others.
- Deep knowledge of end-to-end business processes within a high-tech manufacturing or operations environment.
- Demonstrated ability to drive large-scale initiatives under pressure, complexity, and ambiguity.
- Experience leading strategy and change across diverse, global teams.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and DMAIC methodologies.
- Familiarity with program and project management frameworks such as Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, and SDLC.
- Prior consulting experience with Big 4 firms.
- Experience in a large, global technology company.
