About The Role
As a Planning and Performance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be long-term shift planning and workforce scheduling within the airport operations division. You will collaborate closely with unit managers and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal staffing levels, compliance with collective agreements, and continuous improvement of scheduling practices. Additionally, you will oversee processes and contribute to operational enhancements across the division.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, structured, and enjoys solving complex planning challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate daily with managers of airport operations units.
- Plan and optimize long-term shifts for airport operations staff.
- Continuously improve employee scheduling practices in line with collective agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Drive operational improvements related to resource planning and turnaround efficiency.
- Ensure responsible use of company resources and compliance with aviation safety regulations.
- Attend mandatory and additional training courses provided by the company.
- Optimize shift planning using My Time Plan and develop solutions for system limitations.
- Experience in workforce planning, scheduling, or similar operational roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and improve processes.
- Familiarity with data analysis and optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a structured approach to planning and problem-solving.
- Tech-savvy and able to work with scheduling systems (experience with My Time Plan is a plus).
- Ability to adapt to evolving operational needs and maintain composure under pressure.
- Experience working under structured quality and safety management systems is an advantage.
