At Telgea, we’re building the first global telecom operator. Our platform gives companies a single place to manage mobile plans across borders. Think of us as the telecom version of Revolut.

But Telgea is more than a product — we’re a team of second-time founders and seasoned operators on a mission to fix what’s broken in global telecom. We move fast, think customer-first, and stay far away from corporate complexity. We believe in autonomy, trust, and ownership. And we’re just getting started.

We’ve launched in 10 countries in our first 12 months, raised $2.8M, and are scaling quickly. If you want to join an ambitious team solving real problems for global businesses — and you like things fast, fun, and focused — Telgea might be your next adventure.

The role

At Telgea, you’ll help build the platform that lets global companies manage mobile subscriptions across countries in one place. Your work will directly shape the tools IT managers rely on for activation, billing, analytics, and subscription management.

  • You’ll bring new ideas, influence product direction, and help us push the boundaries of what a modern telecom platform can be.
  • You’ll work with a modern stack — React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Python (Flask/FastAPI), PostgreSQL, and Docker — and contribute across both frontend and backend.
  • You’ll own features end-to-end: scoping, building, shipping, and optimizing.
  • You’ll collaborate closely with design to deliver intuitive, high-clarity experiences for enterprise users.
  • You’ll help define architectures that are fast, stable, and scalable across countries and connectivity providers
  • You’ll contribute actively to reviews, technical discussions, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering.

Who you are:

  • Deep experience building production apps with React + TypeScript (8+ years).
  • Strong understanding of modern React architecture and component patterns.
  • Experience with backend development in Python (Flask or FastAPI preferred).
  • Comfort working with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and REST API design.
  • Experience with Docker, GitHub Actions, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
  • Ability to design and maintain scalable systems.
  • Appreciation for great UX and clean abstractions.
  • Pragmatic mindset — choosing the right tool for the real problem.
  • Strong project management skills. You won't have a PM.
  • Curiosity, ownership, and willingness to work across the stack.
  • Bonus: experience with telecom integrations, CDR pipelines, or mapping/geo libraries (not required).

Before you apply

What we’re building isn’t simple. We operate with urgency, ownership, and high standards. This won’t be right for everyone — and that’s okay.

This role likely isn’t a fit if:

  • You need heavy structure or formal processes.
  • You prefer narrow specialization.
  • You’re uncomfortable making decisions with imperfect information.
  • You want a big-company setup — we’re still building many things for the first time.

But if you want to build from the ground up, move fast, and leave a real mark on a product used by global companies — we’d love to talk.

Salary range: $85k–$120k.
