We are actively seeking a highly skilled professional to strengthen our client's core team, which is dedicated to delivering a superior, uniform Global Digital Experience Platform. This is a long-term, strategic opportunity focused on modernizing and future-proofing one of the world's largest international web ecosystems, built on a leading enterprise Content Management System (CMS).

This is you

• 7-10 years of experience in Java development, with several years in enterprise CMS (FirstSpirit or equivalent).
• Expertise in Java 17+.
• Deep knowledge of the FirstSpirit Developer API, FSM Modules, CaaS (headless JSON), Template Sets, and Workflow API.
• Experience with modern stack components like Spring Boot, REST, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Proven focus on compliance requirements in both security (e.g., ISO 27001, Security by Design) and accessibility (WCAG 2.1+).
• Ability to tackle complexity in global multi-site CMS architectures.

This is your role

• Feature Development: Focus on feature development, scaling, and performance. Lead the creation and modification of FirstSpirit templates, input components, and custom modules to meet new design and functional requirements.
• System Architecture & Quality: Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability across the global multi-site system.
• Workflow Management & Integrations: Implement and adapt FirstSpirit workflows using the Workflow API to optimize editorial processes.
• Compliance & Optimization: Drive accessibility updates (focus on keyboard usability), ensure adherence to current Security & Safety regulations, and lead continuous performance and user journey optimizations.
• Collaboration: Actively engage with Product, Frontend, UX, and DevOps teams across EMEA and APAC.
• Consulting & Documentation: Consult on technical implementation, create technical specifications, and ensure active knowledge transfer to the internal team.
