Sr. DevOps Specialist

Edmonton, AB

Contract Role

Duration: 12 months (possible extension)


Hybrid – primarily remote with occasional onsite meetings


Must Haves:

  • 10–12 years of IT experience, with at least 8+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, or Cloud Operations.
  • Proven research and problem-solving experience in complex, enterprise environments.
  • Strong proficiency with SSH clients, remote desktop tools, and secrets management principles.
  • Expertise deploying and managing workloads across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS, load balancing, and monitoring tools.
  • Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience implementing least-privilege security, role-based access, and secrets management practices.
