The ideal candidate will be responsible for internal auditing as well as making recommendations to various business units & departments. This role will also act as an advisor to the business internally


Responsibilities

  • Possess the ability to identify opportunities to improve business processes
  • Perform operational, process, and financial reviews internally
  • Audit internal processes and be able to suggest a course of action be suited to the business
  • Identify risks and find solutions to mitigate risks and improve business controls
  • Review and analyze large amounts of data pertaining to internal controls, cash flow, information security, health & safety, operations, and profitability
  • Make recommendations for cost savings and process efficiency


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-4+ years of experience in an Auditor role; internal or external
  • CPA or CIA is required; enrolment or designation
  • Experience supporting various departments and management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in high-intensity, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel for work (within Ontario)
