This is a full-time hybrid role for an Android Developer based in Austin, TX, with some flexibility for remote work. The Android Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for Android platforms. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing applications for performance, troubleshooting and debugging, and integrating APIs. The developer will also contribute to the full software lifecycle, including concept development, testing, and deployment.
- Proficiency in Android Development with a focus on Mobile Application Development
- Experience with Android Design and creating intuitive user interfaces for mobile applications
- Strong skills in Software Development and implementation of scalable mobile solutions
- Understanding of the Android ecosystem and its integration with third-party APIs and libraries
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
