Responsibilities:
• Design and implement efficient data communication and telecommunication networks to meet organizational needs.
• Configure, install, and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and cabling, to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, identifying and resolving problems to maintain reliability.
• Conduct facility surveys to recommend optimal layouts and locations for network equipment and cabling.
• Oversee the installation of communication circuits such as CAT6 and fiber to support network infrastructure.
• Manage and administer Cisco Nexus data center routing and switching systems.
• Provide support for cloud-based VoIP systems and troubleshoot telecommunication issues as needed.
• Perform hardware and software analyses to ensure network devices meet performance and compatibility requirements.
• Configure and maintain wireless networks, ensuring secure and high-performing connectivity.
• Collaborate with team members to adhere to organizational standards and codes of conduct.
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in network and telecommunications planning, design, and analysis.
• Expertise in Cisco technologies, including routers, switches, and wireless networks.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus data center routing and switching.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for telephony systems and cloud-based VoIP solutions.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of networking systems, including firewalls, load balancers, and IP services.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in complex technical environments.
• Experience with network protocols and services, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
