Mid-Level Corporate Associate - FALC
FALC is seeking an experienced Corporate Associate to join our dynamic team in Muscat. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated lawyer with 5-7 years of corporate law experience to advance their career at one of Oman's leading law firms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structure and execute complex M&A transactions, private equity investments, and joint ventures for major Omani corporations and regional investment funds.
- Lead due diligence teams on multi-million acquisitions and advise on optimal deal structures under Omani law.
- Counsel investment funds on regulatory frameworks, MOCIIP compliance, and foreign ownership structures.
- Navigate complex FDI regulations and structure investments to maximize foreign investor participation.
- Advise boards of publicly listed companies on governance, disclosure obligations, and FSA regulatory matters.
- Lead negotiations with counterparties on high-value transactions and coordinate with international counsel on cross-border deals.
- Interface directly with C-suite executives and investment committee members of major institutional clients.
Requirements:
- Law degree from a recognized university.
- 5-7 years of corporate law experience, preferably in the GCC region.
- Strong knowledge of Omani Commercial Companies Law and foreign investment regulations.
- Excellent drafting skills in English; Arabic proficiency is highly advantageous.
- Admission to practice law in Oman or eligibility for admission.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams.
