Freelance Chief Information Security Officer
Voor een overheidsorganisatie in de regio Beverwijk zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren freelance CISO die de huidige staat van informatiebeveiliging analyseert en verbetert. Je werkt actief aan de implementatie van NIS2 en BIO in samenwerking met interne specialisten zoals de ISO, projectleider I&A, en ICT-experts.
🎯 Jouw opdracht:
- Uitvoeren van een nulmeting en opstellen van een helder adviesrapport
- Ontwikkelen en implementeren van beleid op basis van NIS2 en BIO
- Samenwerken met verschillende stakeholders binnen de organisatie
- Stimuleren van bewustzijn rond informatiebeveiliging op alle niveaus
💼 Wat we zoeken:
- Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als CISO binnen (bij voorkeur) gemeentelijke of overheidscontext
- Relevante opleiding op het gebied van informatiebeveiliging
- Uitgebreide kennis van wet- en regelgeving (o.a. NIS2, BIO)
- Sterke communicatieve en overtuigingsvaardigheden, zonder dwingend te zijn

🔐 Freelance Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) – ZZP – Beverwijk Region
A local government organization in the Beverwijk area is seeking an experienced freelance CISO to assess and improve its information security posture. You’ll lead the implementation of NIS2 and BIO frameworks in close collaboration with the ISO, ICT experts, and project leads.
🎯 Your responsibilities:
- Conduct a full security assessment and provide strategic advice
- Develop and implement security policies aligned with NIS2 and BIO
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders
- Promote security awareness across all organizational levels
💼 What we’re looking for:
- At least 3 years of experience as a CISO, preferably in government or public sector
- Relevant cybersecurity/information security certifications or education
- Strong understanding of applicable legislation (e.g. NIS2, BIO)
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
📅 Duration: ASAP through December 23, 2025
⏱️ Hours: 24–32 per week
💰 Rate: Up to €93.50/hour (freelance)
