We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and manage high-impact projects for a global leader in paints, coatings, and specialty materials. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management expertise, fluency in French, and a proven ability to deliver results in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with diverse management levels, including senior executives
- Partner with project leaders, project sponsors, and the wider project team
- Foster relationships with stakeholders and manage stakeholder engagement effectively
- Oversee vendor management and relationships, ensuring high service standards
- Lead large-scale projects involving IT and non-IT components, spanning multiple domains, regions, and functions
- Manage multi-SBU/Function and multi-regional programs with varying levels of complexity
- Drive an integrated change control process while maintaining project alignment with objectives
- Identify project risks and implement effective risk management strategies, mentoring team members on the process
- Stay abreast of industry trends and contribute to defining project management best practices
- Propose and support continuous improvement initiatives for project processes
- Guide cross-functional teams located across geographies while adeptly managing and resolving conflicts
- Establish and uphold project management best practices tailored to project goals
- Act as a mentor and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure skill development
Requirements
- Four-year degree or higher in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Project Management within IT or a related domain
- Experience in SAP, Oracle, Concur, and SEEBURGER, as well as ideally in legal electronic invoicing
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
- Background in vendor management and enterprise-level project delivery
- Expertise in coaching teams, fostering growth, and managing conflicts effectively
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in technical writing and presenting complex concepts
- Capability to influence business stakeholders using functional and business insights
- Flexibility to work remotely while ensuring high productivity without direct supervision
- English level of minimum B2 (Upper-Intermediate) for effective communication
Nice to have
- PMP or PgMP certification
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Understanding of Scaled Agile Framework
