As a Software Project Manager, you take responsibility for project success, guide our customers from planning through to go-live, and ensure the optimal balance between customer needs and business interests.
What you’ll be doing:
You support our customers in the planning and implementation of their digitalization projects, from consulting and team setup at project start through to go-live. Your responsibilities include:
- Projects & Controlling: You manage our customer projects in the areas of web, app, IoT, workflows, and cloud, and are responsible for steering, controlling, and billing teams and assignments.
- Risk Management: You anticipate risks and issues, communicate them proactively, and take the right measures.
- Proposal Management: Together with our sales team, architects, and digital consultants, you take responsibility for preparing proposals.
- Staffing: You handle planning and organization for short- and mid-term service assignments.
What you’ll need:
Can you communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members, and do you have strong organizational skills? Do you spot problems early, develop efficient solutions, and adapt flexibly to new challenges? Perfect! In addition, you bring the following:
- At least five years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally with an IT service provider or a comparable company
- Familiarity with digitalization and software development projects as well as solid experience in agile IT project and service management (proposal preparation, setup, delivery organization, controlling, and billing) and in leading agile project teams
- Confidence in working with customers and the ability to keep an overview when things become complex and intense, for example at project start or go-live
- Completed Hermes project management certification (HERMES 5 or HERMES 5 Foundation or Advanced)
- Ability to set clear boundaries and handle communicative tensions effectively
- Fluent German and English skills
