About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to join our growing test team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products across web, mobile, API, and database layers. Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies in collaboration with development teams

• Review test basis (requirements, specifications, user stories, etc.) and provide constructive feedback

• Perform all required activities of the test process including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting

• Design, develop, and execute tests for APIs, web applications, mobile apps, and databases

• Create and maintain comprehensive test cases and test data

• Perform manual testing and develop automated test scripts as needed

• Develop automation scripts when necessary and contribute to ongoing test automation efforts

• Detect, document, and track bugs using appropriate tools

• Analyze test results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders

• Discuss and evaluate risks that may affect the continuous improvement of the test process within squads

• Contribute to the improvement and extension of test automation frameworks

• Understand project requirements and define test scope accordingly

• Collaborate closely with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure high product quality

• Document test processes and suggest continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related fields

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software testing processes

• Strong knowledge of software test methodologies, tools, test design techniques, and processes

• Strong knowledge and experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar

• Experience in testing mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms

• Proficiency in web application testing

• Experience with databases such as SQL Server, MongoDB, etc., and ability to write and validate SQL queries

• Hands-on experience with test management tools such as TestRail or similar

• Experience with test and defect management tools such as Jira

• Preferably experienced in test automation using Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or equivalent tools

• Ability to design and execute both manual and automated test cases

• Experience working in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban

• Experience using Kibana, Kafka, or similar tools for log tracking and analysis

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Open to learning and eager to stay updated with the latest technologies
