About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Golang Developer with strong backend and full-stack experience to join our engineering team. This is a critical role for a motivated individual who is passionate about building scalable web services and modern user interfaces, working in cloud-native environments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web services and APIs using Go (Golang)
• Collaborate on frontend features using React and TypeScript, with a focus on performance and usability
• Work with PostgreSQL and other relational databases to manage and optimize data models
• Develop and deploy applications in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using Docker and Kubernetes
• Follow and advocate for software engineering best practices, including automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and version control (Git)
• Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Communicate effectively and work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and QA

Required Qualifications:

• 5–7+ years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent)
• Strong hands-on experience with Go (Golang) for building REST or GraphQL APIs
• Solid experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containerization tools (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong grasp of software development best practices
• Comfortable working in Agile or iterative environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in fintech, retirement/wealth, or other regulated industries
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and DDD principles
• Understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, and SSO in secure financial applications
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
